A date in the big easy with my main squeeze.

Photo diary: spent today's afternoon with my boyfriend in Nola. We lunched in at Cochon. Followed lunch, was desert at a neat bakery called sucre located in uptown Nola. It was rushed, I wished I could have spent more time with him before I caught my flight to Houston. But we promised we'll make up for lost time when I arrive ;).

@ Cochon. He enjoyed today's special, pork tenderloin sandwich.

Hamhock with an interesting perspective of red beans and rice. The red beans and rice was servEd cold, with a subtle vinegerette flavor. The tangy seasoning was just enough to contrast from the savory well stewed ham hock. I love that they modernized such a traditional southern dish.
